Macworld 2010

Macworld has begun and we are all wondering how will it do without Apple. According to VP Paul Kent

"We're excited to deliver one of the most dynamic and interesting Macworld ever. This year's Macworld shines a spotlight on all of the amazing things people are doing across the Apple-products ecosystem, This includes a diagnostic too that identifies a vehicle's potential repair problems, gloves that mimic human touch and allow users to tap their iPhones in harsh weather, a shoulder/hip bad with integrated controls with iPods or iPhones and a apers scanner that sends documents and photos directly to popular desktop/web apps."

There will also be a special presentation with the iPad. Stay tuned as I will post anything of intrest that comes from this event.

Apple to drop iTunes TV shows price.

According to some sources Apple will be dropping the price to 1$ on select t.v. shows. Apple will supposedly drop the price to coincide with the release of the iPad. According to the Financial Times

"Some television networks agreed to the lower prices after months of negotiations, and having initially resisted Apple’s push. Media executives are under pressure from declining DVD sales and cut-rate rental services such as Redbox, that offer rental DVDs for $1."

While I personally don't download seasons of shows I'm sure that this new price drop will draw some more attention to iTunes and maybe prevent some piracy.

First Post

So for my first post I'm going to tell you about a couple iPhone apps which have had all my attention lately. First there is Tap Farm.
Basically Farmville for the iPhone. This app is a must for anyone who enjoys Farmville. This app requires and internet connection to use. The devlopers are quickly adding new features so be sure to check for updates often.

Another app which most people have heard of is Shazam. If you are one of the few who havent you definatley need to check it out. This app allows you to hold your iPhone up to a speaker and "listen" and identify what the song is. After the song is tagged you are presented with all the information about the song including: Artist, Name, Album, Date, and links to Youtube and Appstore.
